Chains & Fittings

Our Chains & Fittings range covers everything you need to build and maintain compliant Grade 8 lifting and lashing chain slings, from the chain itself through to every connecting component. All parts are manufactured from quenched and tempered alloy steel and conform to the relevant BS-EN 1677 and BS EN 818 standards, with each item marked with the manufacturer's identification and material grade.

Alongside Grade 8 short link chain, you'll find a full range of clevis, eye, swivel and grab hooks for connecting slings to loads, master links and quad master link assemblies for gathering sling legs at the crane hook, and component connectors for joining hooks and links to chain. Shortening clutches let you take up slack in a sling leg without reducing its safe working load.

We also stock the spare parts that keep this equipment in service – centre pins and bushes, clevis load and retaining pins, safety catch kits and self-locking hook trigger kits – plus BS EN 818 chain identification tags for sling traceability.
